On Saturday, May 23, the Ron Short Band made its debut,
playing two sets at the Gathering in the Gap festival
in Big Stone Gap, Va.

On Friday, March 20, the Music of Coal band
played a date in Jonesborough, Tennessee
opening for Darrell Scott.

In early September we were part of a
publicity photo shoot for the Music of Coal project.
Here's one of the photos; we're hoping
to post more of them soon.

On Saturday, September 27, 2008 we backed up
our friends Joe Lamay and Sherry Reese as they opened
for one of our heroes, Charlie Louvin.

During Charlie's set he asked Chris
to sing tenor on When I Stop Dreaming.

On Sunday, September 23, 2007 we were fortunate to be
part of the release concert for the Music of Coal CD,
held at the Carter Family Fold, with Darrell Scott headlining.
